SharePoint Saturday will be an educational, informative & lively day filled with sessions from respected SharePoint professionals & MVPs, covering a wide variety of SharePoint-orientated topics. SharePoint Saturday is FREE, open to everyone and is your chance to immerse yourself in all things SharePoint!

Adam Woodruff

Adam heads the Microsoft SharePoint Professional Services Practice at Quest Software. His experience includes advising enterprise clients about Microsoft’s Unified Communications strategy.
With more than 10  years of experience creating solutions utilizing Microsoft systems and infrastructure, Adam is skilled in Windows, Microsoft Exchange, Office, and SharePoint Portal Server (MOSS) platform integrations and configurations for deployment, architecture, design, governance, and operational management. 
A recognized subject matter expert in Windows Server 2008 and the Office 14 application platform, Adam has written white papers, maintains his own SharePoint blog and is a contributing author to .NET Developer’s Journal. Prior to Quest, Adam worked for a number of consulting partners as a senior consultant for Windows Server 2008 and 2003; Exchange 2007 and 2003; SQL Server 2005; and SharePoint Portal Server 2007 (MOSS). Adam spent three years at Microsoft in addition to consulting for Convergent Consulting; Andelogic, Inc.; Tech Heads, Inc.; and Interlink Group, LLC.

Brian Edwards


Brian Edwards regularly works with customers on creating collaboration, knowledge sharing, business productivity and Web 2.0 solutions. He maintains perspective of industry trends, technology changes and business options through working on projects, presenting and engaging in the community and through his active role with Microsoft’s Partner Advisory Council for SharePoint. An advocate since SharePoint’s early days, in his role as Practice Leader, Collaboration Brian ensures Habañero on top of their game for delivering on Microsoft’s Information Worker platform. He typically leads the strategy portion of engagements, helping customers rationalize costs and benefits to portal initiatives and assisting them with creating a long term vision for success.

Cathy Dew

Cathy Dew (MCTS) is a Senior Consultant and Graphic Designer for Summit 7 Systems in Huntsville, Alabama. Summit 7 Systems is a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner which specializes in the Microsoft Business Productivity Infrastructure, including Office SharePoint Server, Office Communications Server and Exchange Server.

Cathy comes from an Advertising Agency and Graphic Design background, so her focus is on User Interface Design and User Experience with sites. She has worked primarily with SharePoint 2007 with a focus on branding and user experience. She has worked on many SharePoint installations to brand SharePoint and make it look “Not like SharePoint”. Cathy worked to start the Birmingham SharePoint User’s Group last year and has been working on growing the community in the area ever since. She has presented at many user groups and conferences.

Eric Shaffer

Eric Schaffer has been working with K2 since early 2005 when he helped formalize the K2 North America technical support team. He now spends his time working with K2 Partners to showcase the power of the K2 platform as a Technical Partner
Manager with K2.  Eric holds a bachelors’ degree in Computer Science from Washington State University. Prior to joining the K2 family Eric contracted with Microsoft in both the Xbox certification testing department and developer technical

Nimrod Geva

Nimrod has over 15 years of experience in software design & development for real-time avionics systems and Microsoft-based IT systems. He has worked with SharePoint both as a developer and later as a solution architect since the 1st SharePoint release in 2001. Today, as KWizCom’s Product Group Manager, Nimrod manages the roadmap for KWizCom products, defining new products and their feature sets.

Scott Lavoie has been implementing software training rollouts for 12 years.  He has worked in healthcare, energy, corporate governance, finance and telecommunications in the private and public sectors.  He spent five years in the ECM industry, where he built 2 training departments from the ground up. He has travelled extensively to the U.S. to deliver training to clients. He currently is a Senior Software Training Consultant and works in Toronto.

Sean is the Product Manager for SharePoint Products at Idera, a Microsoft gold certified partner and creator of tools for SharePoint, SQL Server, and PowerShell.  As a consultant, Sean has worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies to architect, implement, troubleshoot, tune, and customize their SharePoint environments. Steve is an independent consultant based in Vancouver where he engages as a strategic advisor and enterprise architect. Recently, Steve worked for Microsoft Canada as an Enterprise Consultant where he engaged as a SharePoint specialist with the large enterprises and governments around North America designing solutions to solve their most challenging business problems. Before joining Microsoft, he worked for Electronic Arts as a Software Engineer and Technical Lead.
Steve holds several certifications, including MCT, MCITP: SQL Server Administration and Development, MCPD: ASP.NET Development, MCTS: MOSS and WSS Configuration and Development, and MCTS: TFS Configuration and Development. Todd Klindt

Todd has been a professional computer nerd for 15 years, specializing in SharePoint for the last five years. His love affair with SharePoint began one slow day at the office when he discovered SharePoint Team Services 1.0 on the Office XP CD and decided to install it. The rest is history. In 2006 he was honored to be awarded the MVP award from Microsoft for Windows SharePoint Services. He has had the pleasure of working with SharePoint farms both large small. He has written several books and magazine articles on SharePoint. Todd has presented sessions on SharePoint at many major conferences both in the United States as well as Europe and Asia and does the user group circuit as well. Trevor Dyck

At Colligo, Trevor is responsible for capturing the customer voice, managing product lifecycles, and defining the product strategy and roadmap for Colligo's award-winning SharePoint client and collaboration solutions. Trevor has over 17 years of experience in the high technology industry. He worked 12 years at Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies in both engineering and product management roles. Prior to joining Colligo, Trevor was Director of Product Management at Zeugma Systems, a telecom startup company. Trevor holds Bachelor of Applied Science (Computer Engineering) and Master of Business Administration degrees from Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, BC, Canada. He has co-authored 3 US patents and won an Emmy award for his pioneering work on MPEG video with HP.
