I started in the IT world as an IT generalist back in 2001 and since then I spent 7 years as a dedicated Exchange administrator working on everything from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2010 and working with Exchange organizations with 15 mailboxes to 6000 mailboxes. In 2010 I started working with SharePoint as I saw it as the next evolution in collaboration and haven't looked back since. My main focus is on SharePoint farm administration and I am starting to scratch the surface with SharePoint branding and web design.
