Keynote Speaker: John Roe

John Roe is the new Technology Solutions Professional (TSP) for SharePoint at Microsoft, with a focus primarily on enterprise customers in Southern California. Prior to that John worked at Perficient, a national System Integrator, formerly known as speakTECH. He spent about 6 years at Perficient, most recently as the National SharePoint Practice Lead. During that time he worked in a variety of roles related to architecture, development, planning, and training on the SharePoint platform. He enjoys speaking at a variety of community events including the Orange County SharePoint user group.

Brian Alderman

Brian Alderman has his Master's in Computer Information Systems. Since 1995, he has held several Microsoft certifications that currently include; MCT, MCITP for SharePoint, MCITP for SQL Server(R), MCSA and MCSE for Windows Server(R), and also his PMP certification. As a Senior Technical Instructor and Consultant he has nearly 15 years of experience in networking, SQL Server databases, SharePoint technologies, and project management. Brian's publications include Windows 2000 Professional, SQL Server 2000 Administration and SharePoint 2010 Administrator's Companion. He is an active speaker at SharePoint Industry conferences including SharePoint Saturday's, SharePoint Best Practices Conferences (BPC), and the recent International SharePoint Conference in London.

Chris Givens is the CEO of Architecting Connected Systems, a course ware development company focused on advanced development topics. ACS credits include the top selling worldwide development course in SharePoint 2007. Chris’s past experiences include Microsoft, Avanade, several technology startups in the Seattle area and a 5-year career at IBM. Elmer Morales

Elmer is the founder and CEO of CloudBits, an Office 365-focused software company. He previously worked as a Partner with Phenom where he lead the technical delivery of numerous SharePoint consulting projects and played a lead technical role in a Fortune 100 deployment to Office 365 (formerly BPOS-D). Prior to Phenom, Elmer spent many years as a Sr. Architect with Avanade (a joint venture from Microsoft and Accenture) where he focused on enterprise collaboration and social computing. Over the years, Elmer has contributed design and code to SharePoint projects for Microsoft, American Express, World Vision, Accenture and many others. Elmer lives with his wife and children in Southern California, enjoys bike riding, gourmet food and the occasional huge pile of chicken wings.

Eugene Rosenfeld

Eugene Rosenfeld is the CTO of Black Blade Associates, and 2-time Microsoft MVP awardee. He started his IT career as a database programmer and soon moved into enterprise application integration (EAI) and portal systems. Eugene holds a strong belief that all systems should have the innate ability to intelligently communicate with one another. Most recently he has been heavily involved with distributed systems architecture, Services Oriented Architected (SOA), peer-to-peer systems, and cloud computing. Eugene spends his time developing innovative SharePoint products and utilities, like the docBlock Ascend, which brings virtual documents to the SharePoint platform and incorporates Eugene’s interests in distributed systems, SOA, peer-to-peer systems. I started in the IT world as an IT generalist back in 2001 and since then I spent 7 years as a dedicated Exchange administrator working on everything from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2010 and working with Exchange organizations with 15 mailboxes to 6000 mailboxes. In 2010 I started working with SharePoint as I saw it as the next evolution in collaboration and haven't looked back since. My main focus is on SharePoint farm administration and I am starting to scratch the surface with SharePoint branding and web design.
