Call for Sponsors

We are proud to announce the first SharePoint Saturday event for the Phoenix area and we are currently looking for sponsors.

The enormous interest in SharePoint as a platform, our ability to provide industry leading speaking talent and our gracious sponsors will prove to be the recipe for success. We cannot express how important sponsorships are for SharePoint Saturday as they keep the event FREE for attendees while introducing them to new products and services. This also gives them a chance to meet with representatives of these products and services in a professional, yet casual, venue to really explore what the sponsors have to offer.

The event will be held on November 21st at the University of Advancing Technology in beautiful Tempe Arizona.

We have two levels of sponsorship available – GOLD and SILVER. If you are interested in sponsoring a specific item please fill out the form located here and email us back at SharePointSaturdayPHX@live.com.

Call for Speakers

Friday, August 21, 2009
We just confirmed a venue for SharePoint Saturday Phoenix for Saturday, November 21, 2009 at The University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona.

Yes, the Phoenix weather is extremely nice in November and the event will be one to remember.

If you are planning on traveling to the Phoenix area, please understand that travel can get pretty costly in during the holiday season and this area gets LOTS of vacationers!  We are planning to fill up a number of slots to cover topics for developers, administrators, architects, administrators, and those of you who have no idea what you are but you're awesome at what you do.

Unfortunately we do not have any INETA speaker compensation as they are restructuring the entire speaker program.  That means that we have no speaker compensation at the moment.  There will be a Speaker Dinner and more information will follow.  We are trying to mirror a couple things that other SharePoint Saturday events have done this past year such as an "Ask the Experts" panel.

The abstract submission form is located here: Speaker Submission Form.  We are planning on having topics that cover SharePoint 2010 as this event happens *after* the SharePoint Conference and certain subjects under NDA will be lifted at that time.  If you want to submit a session abstract please send the form to SharePointSaturdayPHX@live.com.  The official deadline will be somewhere around the beginning of October.
