Lori Gowin has 12 years of experience in technology administration. Since 2006, she has focused on SharePoint administration. Prior to focusing on SharePoint, Lori was an Information Technology Specialist in the United States Coast Guard. The broad technology experience she gained there allowed her to focus on system administration and management as well as support. In June of 2006, she received her MCSA +Messaging and MCSE certifications. Lori has been instrumental in deploying SharePoint environments and solutions in industries such as healthcare, retail and education. She has spoken at events throughout the southeast, sharing solutions and knowledge about administration. Lori lives in the Birmingham, Alabama area with her husband and two sons. She is currently serving as a co-chairperson for the Birmingham SharePoint Users' Group.
