Adam Levithan, MBA, has been working almost exclusively with MOSS since early 2007. Adam’s focus has been on architecture, user adoption, and training. He is currently working as a SharePoint Consultant and Trainer serving the federal government for LCG Systems, Inc. Daniel Cohen-Dumani is the founder and CEO of Portal Solutions, LLC. Daniel has more than 20 years experience in the computer science field. 18 years working in the IT industry with 11 of those working in the education sector and i have worked with many versions of Windows server, Exchange, SQL Server. Over the last few years i have been specializing in SharePoint starting with SharePoint team services back in 2001 through SharePoint portal server 2003 with Class Server and on to SharePoint 2007 and now onto SharePoint 2010 after introducing SharePoint into Twynham and making it a key component of their IT strategy.
In 2008 Twynham was the sole winner of the Beyond the Classroom BECTA ICT Excellence Award 2008 for their SharePoint work on Parental engagement. Many articles have been written about our SharePoint deployment with case studies and architecture models appearing on the Microsoft websites worldwide. I am also a regular speaker on our SharePoint achievements including on the Microsoft stand at BETT, Learning Gateway Conference and recently presenting to the Microsoft SharePoint product group and education team at Microsoft headquarters in Redmond.

Ed Wells has been involved with SharePoint since the days of Windows SharePoint Services 2.0.  He has worked in various capacities on SharePoint solutions for numerous clients.
Ed began his SharePoint career seeing SharePoint as a simple document management tool.  He would set up servers from barebones, install and configure WSS 2.0 in single server farm configurations, and install and configure third party search engines to index the libraries.  The user interface was made of custom ASP.NET pages.  SharePoint was just a back-end file share with metadata attached.  Ed even wrote event handlers to stamp properties on the indexed PDFs documents because he didn’t trust SharePoint yet.
In late 2006 Ed hit the jackpot -- a client who was willing to use a beta version of Windows SharePoint Services 3.0.  One look and Ed was in love.  Suddenly he saw SharePoint as a full blown collaboration portal, not just a free file share.  The rest is history.
In his youth Ed was presented with the University of Maryland’s highest honor, a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.  He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the same institution.  A lifelong Terps fan, Ed is confident Maryland could beat your school in whatever athletic forum they compete in…even if Maryland has recently lost in said competition.

My name is Ilia Sotnikov, and I work as a Product Manager at Quest Software. John Burkholder is a Senior Project Manager for Digicon Corporation, where he is the primary business manager for SharePoint and specializes in architecting hosted SharePoint environments. Matthew Lathrop joined Rackspace in October of 2007 after several years facilitating internal operations, procurement and vendor management in the Austin area.  Matthew’s skills sets were best utilized within Rackspace when it came to discussing operational efficiencies with companies how to better utilize capital resources.  Quickly moving internally within Rackspace, Matthew started working with new acquisition for small-to-medium (<$100M annual revenue) sizes business who engaged Rackspace for hosting services.  From there, his scope broadened to include Enterprise (<$250M annual revenue) level companies and more complex infrastructure configurations.  Matthew is current a dedicated resource to the SharePoint Team within Rackspace and holds the title of SharePoint Evangelist to ‘preach the good word’ about all matter SharePoint related; internally and externally for Rackspace.   As SharePoint Evangelist, his role is two-fold; Project Managing SharePoint deployments and potential new customers while helping to build the SharePoint brand name for Rackspace by working with 3rd Party vendors/consultants that offer additional SharePoint services which reside outside the scope of work for Rackspace.

Michael Doyle is the SharePoint Architect for Waggener Edstrom, one of the leading PR companies with offices around the world. Michael has been working almost exclusively with SharePoint for the last seven years. He has been in the software arena professionally for the last 20 years and has worked for companies such as A-dec, Fedex, Intel, NETWARCOM, Deloitte and Touche, HCA, Vanderbilt, and others. Michael has done consulting, teaching, and professional software development. He got his B.E. and M.S. from Vanderbilt University. In his spare time, he likes to kayak and travel. After ten plus years of developing and managing e-learning projects I have found myself in the unique position to drive the innovation at an enterprise level using knowledge management tools and social media.
My current title is Instructor at Citibank, although training delivery is one aspect of what I do, most of my job and interests included knowledge/content management, efficiencies projects and how they can be effectively distributed. This path has led me to SharePoint as the medium to deliver customized solutions.
When I am not tinkering under my MOSS sites hoods and bothering the IT department regarding admin level permissions you’ll find me either at home relaxing with my wonderful wife and three children or at my boxing gym trying to improve my “sweet science” despite the science of gravity and advancing years.

With ten years in the IT/IS industry, Mick is considered a pioneer in the use and implementation of various web technologies including Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services, and JavaScript/AJAX based Web 2.0 technology. As the lead technical architect on H3's Mobile Entrée, he is very excited about the emerging mobile computing explosion we are seeing with the advent of the modern SmartPhone.

Michael Guillory is Enterprise Enabler Evangelist at Stone Bond Technologies.  Mike leads the architecture and development of Enterprise Enabler’s SharePoint connectivity initiatives. Since late 2007 he has been the primary technical liaison with Microsoft’s SharePoint BCS development team, ensuring the best technical fit between the two products.  With twenty years of technical and leadership experience, Mike understands and relates to both corporate and ISV IT needs. He first presented Enterprise Enabler with SharePoint 2010 in June of 2009 at the Technical Adoption Program’s Airlift conference.

Mike Oryszak is a SharePoint Server MVP and Principal Consultant with Intellinet in the Information Workers practice specializing in SharePoint Architecture and Development. Susan Henry has been working with SharePoint for the past three years and specializes in Design, Information Architecture, and Development with SharePoint Designer and InfoPath. In college she studied Mathematics and Philosophy and she began her career in IT as a web designer. She is currently a SharePoint Consultant with World Wide Technologies and resides in the Asheville, NC area where she works with the Veterans Affairs Consolidated Patient Account Center. At the tender age of ten, Tom Carpe was abducted and lovingly raised by a pack of feral Commodore 64's. Eight years later, he returned to the civilized world where he attended the University of Hard Knocks. Since then, he went on to start several businesses. He has been working as a developer and consultant for Microsoft-based products for the past 15 years and has worked for customers such as the International Monetary Fund, the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Homeland Security, Ernst & Young, Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, and the City of Baltimore. Tom is a partner in Colossus Consulting, which formed in 2005 and achieved Microsoft Certified Partner status last year. Thomas Vander Wal has years or working with vendors and services providers making tagging tools both on the web and intranets. Tony Byrne oversees all of The Real Story Group's technology streams and properties, which include CMS Watch, Enterprise Information Watch, and SharePoint Watch.

She has consulted on, and managed projects for mindSHIFT’s application development customers for over 10 years. She has extensive experience guiding customers through various types of technology projects and consulting on business initiatives and challenges. Tracey earned a Masters Degree from New York University in Management and Systems, with thesis work in Software Project Management.

Mr. Carroll has run High Monkey Consulting over the past decade and is instrumental in HMC’s three practice areas: Collaboration, User Experience and Interface Design / Development.  Mr. Carroll has 10+ years working with Microsoft technologies and is currently pursuing his 2nd Master’s Degree in Human Computer Interactions.  Mr. Carroll is currently an MCT and MCTS in SharePoint and speaks all around the world on collaborative topics.  Bringing a wealth of knowledge and a level of enthusiasm that would infect any audience, Mr. Carroll will use his sense of humor and storytelling ability to engage audiences while providing them with practical advice on collaborative best practices.  Mr. Carroll has been speaking locally and nationally for over 15 years.
