Special Interest: “Tricky Fit: Knowledge Management and the DoD (Healthcare)”
Recent articles in industry publications have pointed to the challenges facing deployment of knowledge management systems within the DoD. This session will focus on current issues facing the SharePoint project manager in joint or inter-agency environments (specifically, medical operations). Focus will be on recent changes to IT policies in the last half of CY2009 and their impact on governance, planning, and implementation with particular attention to: HIPAA compliance, CAC authentication, records management and recent rapid action revisions to existing policies as part of a SharePoint SDLC. Objective is to ensure successful, effective and efficient project plans that take into account new requirements in initial planning. Designed for intermediate to advanced level SharePoint PMs, admins and devs involved in requirements analysis and project planning.
