Bernie Hockswender Bernie Hockswender has worked in Information Technology for over 25 years. He began his high-tech career in the publishing industry and spent 15 years working for Computerworld, a news-weekly for IT professionals. His experience includes executive positions with IDG Communications, the McGraw-Hill Corporation, and the Rand McNally Corporation. His software background includes 4 years as Director of the Transportation Software Unit of Rand McNally. His most recent work has been with i-Squared Inc., a Pittsburgh based Enterprise Content Management (ECM) consulting firm where he is a Vice President and "chief evangelist" of applied ECM for SharePoint deployments.
Bernie has written several articles on the benefits of using ECM approaches to execute business strategy and on the benefits of separating Information Architecture and Technical Architecture in SharePoint and portal deployments.
