Special Topic: SharePoint 2010, Claims-Based Identity, Facebook, and the CloudClaims-based identity is a new paradigm in SharePoint 2010 that opens up a vast array of possibilities for developers and architects alike, including the ability to leverage Windows Azure AppFabric's Access Control Services (ACS) to integrate OpenID authentication providers such as Facebook with SharePoint. This integration is likely to drive user engagement with public-facing implementations of SharePoint in the future. In this demo-intensive session, I will introduce Claims-based identity, demonstrate how to configure the integration between SharePoint, Azure ACS, and Facebook, and then show some of the many exciting ways SharePoint and Facebook can leverage one another to maximize the value of this integration to users.
