SharePoint Saturday Birmingham was a FREE educational, informative & lively SharePoint event filled with sessions from respected SharePoint IT professionals, developers and solutions architects & MVPs, covering a wide variety of topics focused on Microsoft SharePoint technologies.

SharePoint Saturday Birmingham was hosted at Jefferson State Community College (Shelby-Hoover Campus) in the Health Sciences Building and was free to anyone who wanted to attend. Lunch was provided and there were numerous giveaways at the end of the day. SharePoint Saturday Birmingham is a great opportunity to learn, share and network.

Lola Flippo - MCP, MCTS, MCSE - Event Coordinator

Lola is a Microsoft Certified Professional Technology Specialist (MCP, MCSE, MCTS), a Certified AgilePoint Technical Product Specialist, and holds certifications in MOSS 2007, Unix Administration, Web Site Development and Design, and Java. Lola works for Teksouth as Practice Director Business Solutions.

Lola has 25 years experience in the IT Industry. She is an MVP for the Birmingham Microsoft Management Users Group (BMMUG) and is currently a Board Member serving as Technology Advisor for the Microsoft Project Association (MPA - Birmingham Chapter). Lola was on the Office SharePoint Portal Server 2007 Rapid Deployment Program with Microsoft and was the Featured Speaker on MOSS 2007 at the ATMA (Alabama Telecommunications) Annual Conference on behalf of Microsoft.

Lola has published 5 SharePoint Case Studies with Microsoft, is a featured member of the “Biltmore Who’s Who”, and was in the “Spotlight” on Birmingham Business Journal.
