Session Topic Description:

Translating from Design to Interface (SharePoint 2010)

There are many “gotchas” for Developers when it comes to SharePoint Branding. Translating the ideas of your creative team to your developers is vital to your branding process and more importantly, the success of your project.
When you are creating a SharePoint site for a company, you often receive the design for the site from a designer who may or may not be familiar with SharePoint and how to design for the special needs/restrictions of a SharePoint site.  In this session, I will discuss the common design problems that developers should be on the lookout for.  I will also talk about the best ways to work with a designer or design group to create a consistent user experience for SharePoint 2010 sites.
